OUR HISTORY
We are a husband and wife team with two children, who moved to Baiona in 2004.
Along with our eldest daughter, our family suffered a traumatic year in 2003, following the very premature birth of our youngest daughter.
She was born at only 25 weeks gestation, weighing barely a pound.
To thank the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit in Southmead Bristol Hospital, where she was born, in September 2003 we did a sponsored climb up Mount Snowdon, Wales.
We managed to raise £6500.00 for Southmead, to be able to purchase specialist equipment to help all the future babies.
We owe our daughters life to the staff and will be forever in their debt.
We are now all doing well and find ourselves in 2012 and about to start our eighth season.
It's been quite an adventure to get here, with lots of ups and downs, but we can honestly say that so far, we have enjoyed every minute (well almost).
We have been visited by some wonderful guests and have made some good friends.
There have been many changes since we opened; just like any new home it has taken a while to find a place for everything.
Each season has brought new faces and some old ones too.
We've enjoyed being part of wedding celebrations, birthdays, births and well deserved holidays.
We look forward to seeing you all again, and for those of you that haven't yet been to us, we hope to be able to include you in our guest book and gallery soon.
